My name is a take off on Chaos Theory. We all know that Chaos Theory is an attempt to see and understand the underlying order of complex systems that may appear to be without order at first glance. The idea that something large and seemingly random, has at its base a series of seemingly unrelated smaller occurrences: often times also referred to as the Butterfly Effect. When I think of derby, I think of the Chaos Theory. A complex sport with many, small and seemingly unrelated actions happening all at once, that come together creating a larger more powerful result. |
