What inspired you to start participating in roller derby? Watching the betties bout last year with Thunder! I remember thinking “I have no idea what I’m watching but I want to do it so bad.” Thunder and I decided to sign up for booty camp in fall of 2024 and we stuck with it – wouldn’t be here without her :,)

Advice to First Years:Keep coming back! Prioritize practice, being uncomfortable, falling, asking for help. You’ll get better at ANYTHING if you commit to practicing it 3+ times a week. You will be surprised how much progress you make in such a short period of time.

Favorite moment: So far I think it has been my first official bout with Cogs. I still have SO much to learn but things finally started clicking and it was so fun being on the track with experienced skaters on both teams. Took my first real Champ hit that knocked my a** out, too. It was great.
