What inspired you to start participating in roller derby? A small ask from family friends to help volunteer during the juniors bout led to watching the Roller Betties play after. I knew I needed to get out on the track after that.
Advice to First Years: Just do it! The hardest part is starting, but once you start, it’s too fun to stop.
Favorite moment: Falling / failing / flailing in our debut bout, but still getting up and playing to the whistle, with cheers of encouragement from other skaters. Oh, and starting roller derby with my good pal Maury Pobitch!!
