The Bellingham Roller Betties Season 19 Booty Camp starts in August!
The Bellingham Roller Betties is an 18+ WFTDA roller derby league based in and around Whatcom County, WA. We have a C Level team, three B level teams that compete in an interleague competition, and an A Level travel team that went undefeated in Season 18.
The BRB’s Booty Camp program is a six class course to learn beginner skating skills from the league’s veteran skaters and our onboarding program for potential league members and new referees. The goal of Booty Camp is for you to be safe and confident on skates with knowledge of the game of roller derby. Possibilities can include joining the Roller Betties Grit Pit –upon completion of 4/6 sessions attended and passing the safety assessment- DEA and/or volunteering.
Booty Camp Dates:
– 8/30 1st Camp
– 9/6 2nd Camp
Cut off date. We will not be accepting new participants after session 2.
– 9/13 3rd Camp
– 9/20 4th Camp
– 9/27 5th Camp
– 10/4 Final Camp
– 10/11 Skill Assessment (for league invitation)
All Camp sessions will take place at The Lynden Skateway at 4:00 p.m.
The Booty Camp course is $80 dollars (online payment), non-refundable for all 6 sessions. We look forward to meeting you! – Registration

Meet us and learn about roller derby and league expectations.
– Gear Day
8/23 3:00 p.m. at The Lynden Skateway
Learn what you’ll need to skate safely. Full gear is required to participate in Booty Camp. Access to donated used gear or tips to find good equipment.
