DESCRIPTION:The Bellingham Roller Betties are back for our 17th season of hard-hitting roller derby! In our last season\, reigning champs Team F.L.A.S.H. took home the trophy\, but Tough Love and the Cog Blockers are ready to compete for the title! \nDon’t miss a second of the roller derby action! A BRB season pass gets you entry into all bouts\, with 5 double headers with the Bellingham Roller Betties Team F.L.A.S.H.\, The Cog Blockers\, Tough Love\, and Grit Pit. Season 17 also comes with a Lord of the Rings themed bout: Lord of the Rinks! Come see your favorite teams duke it out with our neighboring leagues (and each other!). \nThis year’s bout dates:\nSaturday\, March 1st\nat Whatcom Community College Pavilion Gym in Bellingham \nSaturday\, March 29th\nat the Lynden Skateway in Lynden \nSaturday\, April 26th (Lord of the Rinks!)\nat Whatcom Community College Pavilion Gym in Bellingham \nSaturday\, May 17th (Semi-finals)\nat the Lynden Skateway in Lynden \nSaturday\, June 28th (Championship Bout)\nat Whatcom Community College Pavilion Gym in Bellingham \nAll bouts open for entry at 4:00 pm. The first bout\, a BRB Home Team vs. an Away team\, starts at 5:00. The second bout\, two BRB Home Teams competing for the league title\, will start around 7:00\, after a half time show.\n*Bout start times may be delayed depending on the length of the bout before. \nThe WCC Pavilion and the Lynden Skateway will feature concessions\, merchandise\, and a Beer Garden for 21+. Child passes are available for kids ages 8-15 and as always\, kids 7 and under get in free. \nImportant information:\nMust check in at will call for entry.\nMerchandise will be available and can be paid in card or cash.\nSeating is limited and on a first-come\, first-served basis.\nTrack-side seating is 18 and over only.\nBeer garden seating is 21 and over only. \nPasses are non-refundable after March 1st

SUMMARY:S17: Championships
DESCRIPTION:Season 17 is wrapping up and the Bellingham Roller Betties are excited to invite you to Championships on Saturday\, June 28 at Whatcom Community College. \nFirst whistle at 5:30 pm starts the face off between Season 17’s third place home team\, Cog Blockers\, competing against Whidbey Island Roller Derby. In the championship bout at 7:30pm\, powerhouse BRB home teams F.L.A.S.H. and Tough Love will battle it out on the track\, pushing the limits of speed\, skill\, and strategy to claim the ultimate trophy. It’s a collision of determination\, grit\, and sheer determination as these athletes leave it all on the track in pursuit of glory. Who will be victorious this year\, Tough Love or Season 16 champs F.L.A.S.H.? Will the superheroes defend their title? \nThe Championship bout is played at the Whatcom Community College Pavilion (241 W. Kellogg Rd.). Free parking is available in the parking lot located on Eliza Avenue\, just south of W. Kellogg Rd. We have a concessions stand selling chips\, candy and soda. The 21+ Beer Garden is serving Boundary Bay beer and Lost Giants Cider trackside. \nThere will be a merch booth to pick up all your Betties and home team swag\, and often our visiting teams have items for sale as well. This is your last chance to grab a bout book for the season and get it signed by all your favorite players. \nTickets for this event: \nADVANCED: $20 for adults 16 and up\, $9 for kids ages 8-15 and free for kids 7 and under AT THE DOOR: Expect prices to increase up to $5 per ticket\, so we suggest securing tickets before you arrive!
