On Saturday\, November 8\, the Bellingham Roller Betties are presenting a double header.\n\n\nIn the first bout of the evening at 5:30pm\, the Bellingham All-Stars take on Marysville’s Strawberry City. The BRB All Star team is made up of the most experienced skaters in the league. Skaters try out for a spot on the All-Stars travel team roster several times a year and they represent the Bellingham Roller Betties in national and international games and tournaments throughout the year.\n\n\nThen at 7:30pm\, the hijinks begin! The second bout of the night is a fundraising bout like no other: Cowboys vs. Aliens! On one side\, the Wild West’s toughest posse\, with spurs\, hats\, and a grit that won’t quit. On the other\, a team of cosmic cruisers from beyond the stars\, bringing futuristic flair and out-of-this-world moves. Watch as these two worlds collide in an evening of high-speed hits\, electrifying jams\, and interstellar action\, all to support our local derby league. This isn’t just a roller derby bout—it’s a cosmic clash for the ages and the audience can pay to change the rules. DESCRIPTION:The Bellingham Roller Betties start Season 17 with a pre-season Double Header on Saturday\, February 8th at 5:30 PM at Lynden Skateway (421 Judson St.\, Lynden\, WA 98264). Doors open at 5:00 PM to give you time to grab merch\, buy concessions\, and find your seat. \nWe will kick off the evening with the annual Red Riot vs. Black Death roller derby bout featuring the Bellingham Roller Betties Freshie skaters. Skaters in this bout completed Booty Camp last fall and have been training hard to prepare for their first public game. The rosters will be completed with some of the BRBs veteran skaters and coached by seasoned veterans who’ve been training the new skaters since booty camp. \nImmediately following\, the Bellingham Roller Betties All-Stars will battle it out against Terminal City Roller Derby out of Vancouver\, BC. The BRB All Star team is made up of the most experienced skaters in the league. Skaters try out for a spot on the all star roster several times a year and represent the Bellingham Roller Betties in national and international games and tournaments throughout the year. \nThe Bellingham Roller Betties have a Merchandise Booth and Beer & Wine Garden along with the Lynden Skateway’s regular concessions. There are both 21+ and Family Seating options in the stands.\nOnce again\, doors open at 5:00 PM and the first bout starts at 5:30 PM. \nTickets for this event:\nADVANCED: $20 for adults (16+)\, $9 for kids ages 8-15 and free for kids 7 and under.

Will the superheroes defend their title? \nThe Betties partner with the Subdued City Rollers\, the junior derby league in Whatcom County\, to bring you a full day of derby! DESCRIPTION:The Bellingham Roller Betties invite you to the TRIPLE HEADER: SEMI-FINALS EVENT on Saturday\, May 18th co-presented by the Subdued City Rollers. \nBRB home team F.L.A.S.H. takes the track at 5:00 pm\, going up against Greater Vancouver Roller Derby. F.L.A.S.H. has already secured their spot in the Championships\, so this match will be entirely for sport! \nThe night will continue to heat up as home teams Tough Love and the Cog Blockers battle it out at 7:00 pm to determine who will compete in the Championship Bout on June 22. \nThe Betties partner with the Subdued City Rollers\, the junior derby league in Whatcom County\, to bring you a full day of derby! The junior’s bout starts earlier in the day with doors at 2:00 pm\, first whistle at 3:00 pm. This is a fun opportunity for those with children to learn what junior derby is all about! \nThe home season bouts are played at the Whatcom Community College Pavilion (241 W. Kellogg Rd.). Free parking is available in the parking lot located on Eliza Avenue\, just south of W. Kellogg Rd. We have a concessions stand selling chips\, candy and soda.
