What inspired you to start participating in roller derby? Needed a new way to keep moving, and wanted a new community. But really a friend basically kept saying “you should do booty camp”, and me “I don’t know how to skate” back and forth. After a month of this, I signed up for it. Haven’t looked back.
Advice to First Years: Show up, do the hard things that scare you. We all want you to do great.
Favorite moment: The day I finally did a knee tap!
