What inspired you to start participating in roller derby? I was looking for queer community and a way to stay active, and a Tinder match told me about the Roller Betties Booty Camp. Now, they’re my team captain and I have an incredible community, the sweetest friends, a new passion, and the buffest butt I’ve ever had.
Advice to freshmeat: You don’t have to know every skill or every rule the first time you skate. Every time you put on your skates, you’re guaranteed to be getting better and learning something new. DO DERBY!!
Favorite moment: Oooo either marrying my derby polycule (shout out Goody, Switch, Ruby, and Venus!) or winning MVP Jammer in my very first bout.
